This Privacy Statement applies to your (Participant) use of the website of
the Adam Gilchrist Trading Challenge at www.tradingchallenge.com.au.
IWL Limited are committed to addressing the concerns of participants of the
Adam Gilchrist Trading Challenge. This has led to us creating a Privacy Policy
to inform Participants of how we endeavour to keep their information secure and
in what manner we use their personal information.
We are bound by the National Privacy Principles, which form part of the
Privacy Act, 1988. This determines the ways in which we must treat personal
information.
This policy covers personal information that may be gathered via the
registration process or Internet.
What information is collected?
Personal Information is collected through the registration form. Other
information is collected if you visit the Website for any reason, including to
read, browse, download information, the Website systems will record your server
address, the date and time of your visit, the pages viewed, any download
made.
How the information is used
IWL Limited reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of Participant
behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the
various areas of the site and to inform advertisers of such information as well
as the number of users that have been exposed to or clicked on their advertising
banners. IWL Limited will provide only aggregated data from these analyses to
third parties.
IWL is obligated to disclose Personal Information the Amber Projects and Arthritis and
Inflammation Research Centre and the Arthritis Australia. (Organisers) IWL
holds no responsibility for any communication from the Organisers during or
after the Challenge Period and is not liable for any unauthorised correspondence
from the Organisers. Participants should refer to the privacy policy of the
Organisers websites.
IWL is obligated to disclose Personal Information to Sanford Securities and PocketWatch by 3
(Sponsors) in order for Participants to receive the promotional offers. IWL
Limited is not responsible for any actions or policies used by Sponsors and
Participants should check the applicable privacy policy of such party when
providing personally identifiable information. IWL holds no responsibility for
any communication from the Sponsors during or after the Challenge Period and is
not liable for any unauthorised correspondence from the Sponsors. Participants
should refer to the privacy policy of the Sponsors websites
Personally identifiable information on individual Participants will not be
sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties without the approval
of the Participants at the time of collection. At such points of collection, the
Participants will have the opportunity to indicate whether he or she would like
to "opt out" of receiving promotional and/or marketing information about other
products, services and offerings from IWL Limited.
Choice/Opt-Out
This site gives Participants the following options for removing their
information from our database to not receive future communications or to no
longer receive our service.
To opt out of receiving promotional and/or marketing material from Sponsors
and Organisers, users must contact the Sponsor and/or Organiser directly:

Upon request, IWL Limited will allow any Participant to "opt out" of further
promotional contacts at any time. You can send mail to the following postal
address: IWL Limited, Level 22, 360 Collins St, Melbourne 3000.
Additionally upon request, IWL Limited will use reasonable efforts to allow
Participants to update/correct personal information previously submitted which
the user states is erroneous to the extent such activities will not compromise
privacy or security interests. Also, upon a user's request, IWL Limited will use
commercially reasonable efforts to functionally delete the Participants and his
or her personal information from its database; however, it may be impossible to
delete a Participants entry without some residual information because of backups
and records of deletions. Access to the database containing personal information
is restricted to IWL Limited staff members with direct responsibility for
customer service or management of the website. Authorised staff members are not
allowed to pass on information about members to non-authorised staff without the
express permission of the Chief Executive Officer.
Further, notwithstanding any opt out of promotional information by the user,
IWL Limited reserves the right to contact a subscriber regarding account status,
changes to the subscriber agreement and other matters relevant to the underlying
service and/or the information collected.
Disclosure of information
Participants personal details will be held in the Challenge database and
passed on to the Sponsors, Amber Projects and Arthritis and Inflammation Research Centre and
the Arthritis Australia as stated in Clause 8.3 and 8.4. Participants
acknowledge that the Challenge Coordinator is committed to ensuring that all
personal data is stored and treated with the utmost care and in accordance with
all appropriate laws.
Links to other websites
From time to time IWL Limited may provide access to external websites
through links provided on the Challenge website. Be aware that when you access a
website other than ours, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of
that site. IWL Limited suggests that you review the privacy policies of each
site you visit.
Users should be aware that IWL Limited may sometimes permit third parties to
offer subscription and/or registration-based services through the Challenge
website. IWL Limited is not responsible for any actions or policies of such
third parties and Participants should check the applicable privacy policy of
such party when providing personally identifiable information.
Cookies
A 'cookie' is a small file containing various information when Participants
visit the web site. "Session" cookies exist only for the duration you are
connected to our website. These cookies are necessary to verify your identity
during your visit. Once you exit the web site, the session cookie is
removed.
IWL Limited also use "persistent cookies" to track Participant visits within
our site for the purpose of convenience when browsing our web site. These are
used to store non-sensitive information that you are aware of and have agreed
to, such as displaying the most recent watch screen you last viewed or how many
lines of market depth are displayed the next time you visit the web site.
If you are concerned about receiving cookies you can enable your web browser
program to notify you when it is receiving a cookie. This gives you the choice
of accepting or rejecting any cookie.
Security of information
IWL Limited has implemented suitable security processes and technologies
to securely maintain information collected and ensure that the information is
not incorrectly used and that there is no unauthorised access. On our website
when you log on, enter an order or view your personal information, the data is
encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology, thereby
'scrambling' the information contained in the transmission.
Storage of Information
Personal information is stored from the time of registration until Monday December 10 2007, after which the Organiser will immediately
delete all Personal Information stored in the database.
Protecting your personal information
IWL Limited store your personal information in different ways, these
include both paper and electronic. We have a number of measures in place to
maintain the security of this information.
IWL Limited reserves the right to change this policy at any time by notifying
users of the existence of a new privacy statement by publication of that new
policy on this site. This statement and the policies outlined herein are not
intended to and do not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on
behalf of any party.
